Featuring 6 Pilates Reformers in the studio, we offer a wide variety of different style classes.
Basic Movement:
Traditional Pilates Reformer class that is designed specifically for beginners or those looking for a more mindful, slower paced practice. With special attention to proper alignment, this low impact workout will carefully introduce reformer exercises to help build strength, develop flexibility, and release stress for the ultimate mind/body experience. For those looking for a more personalized experience we offer private sessions as well!
Build and Move:
This class is for those interested in taking their Pilates practice to the next level. Adding props, hand-weights, resistance bands, and more intermediate to advanced contemporary Pilates exercises. This class combines the most effective traditional exercises with modern sports science for a challenging workout. Expect a full body flow designed to lengthen, align, sculpt and release.
Bounce Movement:
Dynamic and intense, jump board incorporates classical Pilates with cardio and endurance, it fires up your whole body, and will get your heart racing! Jump board is perfect for those looking to improve their cardiovascular training, muscular endurance, strengthen, and push themselves out of their comfort zone!
We do not recommend participating in a jump board class if you are pregnant.
We will offer a variety of movement group classes.
Fusion Classes:
This class combines Mat Pilates, Yoga, and Barre. This cardio style class will give the same great workout as Mat Pilates, Yoga, and Barre, but with an added cardio element, with the addition of props, hand-weights, resistance bands, and more.
Mat Pilates:
Focusing on core strengthening, breathing, shoulder stabilization, and alignment. The structure of the class includes floor exercises that promote stretching and strengthening. Small props may be used in this class.
Yoga:
Vinyasa style yoga that is centered around the Barkan Method, just not in a heated room. We will get your body heat activated through movement and flow. Prepare yourself for a workout like no other.
Aerial Movement*:
Aerial Movement will explore the calming, yet challenging flow of the art of movement using silk hammocks, aerial slings, and/or the aerial hoop or lyra. Aerial movement classes will combine the methodologies of Pilates, Yoga, aerial strength training, and gymnastics while utilizing the versatility of the aerial apparatuses. The equipment is professionally installed and hung over cushioned mats to ensure a safe environment. Aerial movement is taught in private sessions and in special classes only.
*Must be a long time member before you are able to take this class
These will be focused on you and your needs. These sessions can be done one-on-one, or no more than 4 in your group (any reformer or group class that is listed above).
